Anne Lewis

Anne is an associate in our Litigation and Health Professionals Groups. She has experience working on a range of matters, with particular expertise in health law, professional discipline, and defamation. Anne works with regulated health professionals to provide advice and representation in regulatory, administrative, and civil proceedings.

Prior to joining Torkin Manes, Anne was a Judicial Law Clerk with the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, where she focused on complex civil proceedings, as well as criminal, family, and Divisional Court matters. Anne also worked as a law student at a national construction and infrastructure law firm and spent a semester at the Human Rights Legal Support Centre.

Anne is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School, where she received awards for her academic work. She also acted as co-chair of the Osgoode Constitutional Law Society, was on the Feminist Collective executive committee, volunteered with the school’s peer mentorship program, and participated in the annual performing arts revue.
