Loretta Merritt elected to the Board of Directors of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association

Loretta has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association (OTLA)  for a three year term.  OTLA is a professional association for Plaintiff lawyers & staff.  OTLA was formed in 1991 and has 1500+ members across Ontario, other provinces and USA. OTLA champions and advocates for the rights of those who have suffered injury and loss through the wrongdoing of others.

Its goals are to:

Improve Access to Justice across Ontario by working together with local communities.

Promote and lobby for full and fair protection of the rights of those who have suffered injury and losses.

Advocate and support safety initiatives.

Train its members in the highest standard of practice.

Provide workable solutions to improve our legal system.
