Matt Maurer quoted in the Ottawa Citizen's "Cannabis industry alarmed over amendment requiring shareholders' identities to remain public"

The cannabis industry is alarmed by an amendment in Canada’s proposed marijuana law that would require companies to make public the identities of shareholders. 

Matt Maurer, a Toronto lawyer who specializes in cannabis law, says he doesn’t understand how a list of shareholder names would weed out criminals.
