Torkin Manes has established a bursary for Black students at Osgoode Hall Law School

Share:

As part of our commitment to diversity and inclusion, and to create opportunities for Black students to pursue law as a career where financial circumstances may otherwise be an impediment, we have worked with Osgoode Hall Law School to establish the Torkin Manes LLP Bursary to help alleviate a portion of the cost of the first year of law school. This award has been established under York University’s Special Program for Black Students. Two bursaries, each in the amount of $13,500, will be awarded annually to two Black law students with demonstrated financial need entering their first year of the JD program.
