Torkin Manes Partner Lisa Corrente achieves big win for employers before the Pay Equity Hearings Tribunal!

Lisa Corrente was recently successful in an important case before the Pay Equity Hearings Tribunal in which a nursing home's pay equity plan was challenged as being non-compliant with the Pay Equity Act. As counsel for the Employer, Lisa persuaded the Tribunal that for reasons of delay and abuse of process, a review officer's order requiring the Employer to post a new pay equity plan should be rescinded.
