Torkin Manes welcomes Michelle Fan to our Insurance Defence Group

Torkin Manes  is pleased to welcome Michelle Fan who has joined our firm as an associate in our Insurance Defence Group. Michelle maintains a broad insurance litigation practice, including product liability, environmental claims, professional liability, coverage, and commercial disputes.

Michelle has appeared before all levels of courts in Ontario for motions, applications, and trials. She has also appeared before various tribunals, including the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeal Tribunal and Professional Engineers Ontario for disciplinary and jurisdiction hearings.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Michelle worked as a Registered Nurse. She is a current member of the College of Nurses of Ontario and volunteers at Kensington Gardens long-term care centre.
