Profile

Aleksandar is a partner of the firm in our Litigation and Construction Law Groups. He has a broad range of experience litigating commercial and construction disputes. Aleksandar has represented clients on a variety of litigation matters, including the prosecution and defence of construction lien actions, prosecution and defence of oppression actions, and the enforcement of various debt instruments and contractual provisions at private arbitrations and before the Superior Court of Justice.

Aleksandar co-authored the Canadian chapter in an international publication, “Finding, Freezing and Attaching Assets: A Multi-Jurisdictional Handbook”. In his spare time, Aleksandar is an annual participant in the Sporting Life 10K, the Run for the Cure, and volunteers with Ve’ahavta to help feed the homeless.

During law school, he volunteered and worked as a caseworker and group leader at Queen’s Legal Aid where he assisted marginalized individuals with various legal issues. Aleksandar was awarded the McDougall-Watson Memorial Award in recognition for his efforts as a Queen’s Legal Aid caseworker.
