Profile

Annie is an associate in our Litigation Group with a practice that encompasses all aspects of commercial litigation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution.

In her previous roles, Annie gained extensive experience in high-stakes litigation, including multi-jurisdictional class actions, contractual disputes, competition law, shareholder disputes, and regulatory proceedings. She has appeared in Courts of Appeal throughout the country, and has made written submissions to the Supreme Court of Canada on behalf of an intervener.

Annie aims to understand her clients’ unique needs and priorities, and to achieve those effectively and efficiently. Her varied educational background and interests allow her look at problems from several perspectives to come up with creative solutions.

To complement her practice, Annie is a sought-after speaker on various litigation-related topics, including class actions, contract disputes, competition law and securities litigation. She is currently the Vice President of the South Asian Bar Association and the Public Affairs Liaison for the Ontario Bar Association Women Lawyers’ Forum. She also volunteers with Pro Bono Ontario and is an active participant in several mentorship programs.
