Anthony is an associate in our Commercial Real Estate Group, where he routinely advises on the acquisition, disposition, financing, and leasing of all types of real property.
His experience includes the drafting and negotiation of a wide range of real estate related documents, including agreements of purchase and sale, commercial and industrial leases and mortgage and asset-backed security documents on behalf of purchasers and vendors, landlords and tenants, and lenders and borrowers.
In addition to Anthony’s transaction-focused real estate practice, Anthony is also establishing a practice in land and condominium development. He provides counsel to real estate developers at every stage in the life of their condominium and subdivision projects, including the acquisition, financing and development or re-development of land, the registration of condominiums and plans of subdivision and ultimately on the turnover and sale of those lots and units to purchasers.
In this regard, his experience includes the preparation of a wide variety of condominium documents as well as co-ownership, reciprocal and shared facilities agreements relating to the development and use of both residential and commercial condominium and subdivision projects across southern Ontario.
Anthony has also frequently advised and appeared on behalf of clients with respect to matters before municipal planning boards and committees of adjustment relating to applications for consent to severances, long term easements and zoning by-law amendments. He has also appeared on behalf of landlords and asset managers with respect to matters before the Landlord and Tenant Board in Ontario.
