Emily is an associate in our Litigation and Franchise Groups and maintains a broad civil and commercial litigation practice. Emily has experience in a variety of areas, including contractual disputes, franchise litigation, class actions, real estate litigation, commercial tenancy disputes, construction litigation, and shareholder disputes. She has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court, and administrative tribunals
Emily earned her Juris Doctor degree from Queen’s University where she volunteered for the Queen’s Business Law Clinic, served on the Queen’s Law Litigation Society Executive, and was a Teaching Assistant for an undergraduate business law course.
Prior to joining Torkin Manes, Emily practised at a full-service law firm in Toronto.
