Ike is an associate in our Commercial Real Estate group. He advises and assists clients in the acquisition, disposition, financing, and leasing of commercial and industrial properties. Ike has regularly advised clients on all types of real estate related disputes including, commercial lease disputes, contractual disputes, debtor/creditor disputes, and commercial real estate disputes.

In law school, as a student advocate at Fair Change Community Services, Ike negotiated with prosecutors in order to reduce fees and cancel Highway Traffic Act tickets incurred by homeless and street involved individuals. Additionally, Ike was a clinic fellow at the Osgoode IP Innovation Clinic, where he regularly assisted proptech startup companies with their commercial real estate, business and intellectual property needs.

As an undergraduate student, Ike was a varsity athlete on the York University Track and Field Team. As a member of the team, Ike won a bronze medal in the men’s 60m sprint at the 2015 Canadian Interuniversity Sport Championships, was the recipient of the 2015 York University Track and Field achievement award, and received academic All Canadian honours for excellence in varsity athletics and outstanding academic achievement.

Prior to joining Torkin Manes, Ike articled and practised at a leading boutique commercial real estate law firm in Toronto.
