Michael Hochberg

As an associate in our Litigation Group, Michael maintains a broad commercial litigation practice with a steady focus on efficiently resolving complex disputes. He skillfully counsels business clients on matters involving contractual disputes, shareholder and partnership disputes, construction disputes (including lien matters), disputes relating to interests in real property (including commercial leasing matters), and proceedings under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act and the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act. 

He is an accomplished trial and arbitration lawyer, having gained extensive experience advocating on behalf of business clients before all levels of court in Ontario, as well as before administrative tribunals, and in mediations and private arbitrations. Michael invests considerable time familiarizing himself with his clients’ circumstances and approaches each of his files by putting himself in his client’s shoes to gain greater perspective of their goals and how to achieve favourable resolutions most effectively for them.
