Profile

An associate in our Family Law Group, Victoria has gained extensive experience managing complex files related to all areas of family law, including financial issues, parenting issues, and interjurisdictional disputes. She makes it her priority to handle the negotiation of domestic contracts, including separation agreements, marriage contracts and cohabitation agreements, amicably.

When matters cannot be resolved through negotiation, Victoria’s clients benefit from her even temperament, collaborative approach and strong advocacy skills to resolve their matters by mediation, arbitration or litigation. She has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Justice and has assisted with the preparation of cases argued before the Ontario Court of Appeal.

As part of her commitment to client service excellence, Victoria invests substantial time understanding not only her clients’ needs, but also their family dynamics and other external factors that may influence her advice. Her goal is to counsel clients on achieving optimal results in a timely, cost-effective and solution-based manner.

To complement her practice, Victoria is actively involved in the Family Law Bar as a sought-after speaker at conferences, where she educates legal professionals on parenting issues and best practices related to the preparation of domestic contracts. She is also the co-editor of Money and Family Law, a monthly newsletter for family, financial and estates law practitioners.
