Victoria is an associate in our Family Law group. She provides counsel on all areas of family law.
Victoria developed a keen interest in family law early on in law school, which has continued throughout her legal career. During her time at Queen’s Law, she was heavily involved with the Queen’s Family Law Clinic, where she assisted clients with the preparation of cases dealing with parenting and support issues. Victoria has completed internships within the area of child protection law and with court-appointed psychologists conducting custody and parenting assessments. She also gained knowledge of European law and Swedish family law while studying in Sweden.
Prior to joining Torkin Manes, Victoria summered and articled at a prominent boutique family law firm in Toronto. Victoria has experience in mediation, arbitration, and litigation and has worked on complex files related to all areas of family law, including financial issues, parenting issues, and interjurisdictional disputes. She has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and has assisted with the preparation of cases argued in the Ontario Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Appeal. Victoria is dedicated to advocating for her clients’ best interests in a practical and solution-based manner.
